Austin Alexander brings extensive expertise in commercial and investment properties to Aspen Oak. Prior to joining the firm, he led the acquisition of over 10,000 apartment units, representing more than $2 billion in asset value. Most recently, Austin served as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at a large family office, where he played a key role in building a multifamily portfolio from the ground up, growing it to over 8,000 units with $1.25 billion in capitalization over six years.
Previously, Austin was part of The Blackstone Group's Real Estate team, where he evaluated new investment opportunities and managed assets across a diverse range of projects, including note purchases and ground-up developments across North America, Europe, and Asia. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Associate in Deutsche Bank's Commercial Real Estate Group, focusing on the sourcing, structuring, and underwriting of various financing solutions, including first mortgage, bridge, and mezzanine loans for commercial real estate assets.
Austin graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Management and Finance.
